too much to carry
You know when you’re carrying a bunch of boxes and can barely see anything in front of you? You need the assistance of others to help direct your steps so you don’t drop anything? My friend, that’s how it gets when you’re doing too much, feeling too much and you can’t seem to find your way.
It’s essential to recognize when we’re overwhelmed and need to put some things down. I encourage you to take an inventory today and check in with yourself.
When it feels like too much, when it feels too heavy, set it down. Go find whatever makes you feel lighter: a talk with a loved one, a walk, time alone at a coffee shop, a break from social media, reading a good book, working out at the gym, whatever it is that brings the light back to your eyes, make it a priority so you can start to see things clearly again.
The weight of the world can get heavy. Set it down and take care of yourself, first and foremost.
